Bude Nursery serves the seaside town of Bude and its surrounding communities including Upton, Flexbury and Hillhead.

School-based provision provides the children with opportunities to explore and learn through play, as well as more focused experiences. Everything is designed to develop the essential social and learning skills children need when entering more formal learning at a later stage. We promote inquisitive minds and independent attitudes and have created a space in which children can thrive. Our nursery is a carefully planned environment which allows children to explore, practice and refine learning using a core set of resources which are built upon throughout the year.

Specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, our nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the best of starts to your child’s learning journey.

We are fortunate to be in close proximity to local beaches and have daily access to the school's woodland area, used for Forest School.  The Family Hub is in the building next door to us and we enjoy a close partnership with Infants, creating a wonderful foundation for transition.

Flexible Nursery Sessions 

From September 2026, we will be offering various session types at Bude Nursery to suit our families' needs:

• Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.45am-11.45am
• Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12.15pm-3.15pm
• All-day session: 5 full days: 8:45 am - 2:45 pm with an option to extend the day until 3:15 pm at an additional charge
